If you know and love yourself you will find it effortless to be true to yourself. To be true to yourself takes courage. It requires you to be introspective, sincere, open-minded and fair. It does not mean that you are inconsiderate or disrespectful of others. It means that you will not let others define you or make decisions for you that you should make for yourself.
I don’t like to talk the same way others do either. I just always try not being like them. Being myself is way better than pretending to be a clone of somebody, I don’t care if people think I’m cool or not, I just do things my way. Trying to be someone else can cause you to lose your friends.

There really isn’t any specific day when I learned to be myself, I just learned it throughout junior high. I learned that everyone is different and no one can tell you who to be. In seventh grade I had some friends that tried to tell me who I could and couldn’t hang out with buy essay review, which was I couldn’t hang out with anyone else but them. I didn’t like that so decided to leave them and make new friends, but obviously they didn’t like that. I really didn’t care at that point.
